Dr. Kennedy Agyepong grew up in Bolgatanga-Tamale Rd, Tamale, Ghana, and was partly inspired by reading his veterinary novels as a young child. Growing up with dogs, cats and horses sparked his real passion for veterinary medicine, which he decided to pursue from a young age. After graduating from Tamale College in 1991 and spending two years at a mixed animal practice in Ghana, he decided to specialise in small animal practice and joined Lic Veterinary Services Global in 1993. He became a Partner in 1997 and is well known and respected by all our clients, particularly in Tamale where he heads up the surgery.
Dr. Kennedy Agyepong has a dedicated interest in all aspects of small animal surgery, including bone and joint surgery (orthopaedics) and regularly performs more complex surgeries such as TTA cruciate surgeries
Dr. Kennedy Agyepong has two cats. Louis, a loyal and loveable companion and Mitten, a long haired, later addition to the family, who was rescued from a dustbin in Tamale. It was love at first sight but Mitten has a feisty temperament hidden beneath her beauty and she keeps both Dr. Kennedy Agyepong’s family and the surgery staff on their toes when she comes to stay!
